1. ॐ जय गंगे माता, श्री जय गंगे माता।
   जो नर तुमको ध्याता, मनवांछित फल पाता॥

   Om jai Gange Mata, Shri jai Gange Mata. Jo nar tumko dhyata, manvanchhit phal pata.

   Om, victory to Mother Ganga, victory to holy Mother Ganga. Whoever meditates on you receives what their heart desires.

   ॐ, गंगा माता की जय हो, श्री गंगा माता की जय हो। जो मनुष्य आपका ध्यान करता है, वह मनचाहा फल पाता है।

2. चंद्र-सी ज्योति तुम्हारी, जल निर्मल आता।
   शरण पड़े जो तेरी, सो नर तर जाता॥

   Chandra-si jyoti tumhari, jal nirmal aata. Sharan pade jo teri, so nar tar jata.

   Your light is like the moon’s and your water flows pure. Whoever comes to your refuge is saved.

   आपकी ज्योति चंद्रमा जैसी है और आपका जल निर्मल बहता है। जो आपकी शरण में आता है, वह तर जाता है।

3. पुत्र सगर के तारे, सब जग को ज्ञाता।
   कृपा दृष्टि तुम्हारी, त्रिभुवन सुख दाता॥

   Putra Sagar ke tare, sab jag ko gyata. Kripa drishti tumhari, tribhuvan sukh data.

   You saved the sons of Sagara, as the whole world knows. Your kind glance brings happiness to the three worlds.

   आपने सगर के पुत्रों को तारा, यह सारा जगत जानता है। आपकी कृपा-दृष्टि तीनों लोकों को सुख देती है।

4. एक ही बार जो तेरी, शरणागति आता।
   यम की त्रास मिटाकर, परमगति पाता॥

   Ek hi bar jo teri, sharanagati aata. Yam ki traas mitakar, paramgati pata.

   Whoever comes to your refuge even once is freed from the terror of death and reaches the highest state.

   जो एक बार भी आपकी शरण में आता है, वह यम का भय मिटाकर परम गति पाता है।

5. आरती मात तुम्हारी, जो जन नित्य गाता।
   दास वही सहज में, मुक्ति को पाता॥

   Aarti maat tumhari, jo jan nitya gata. Das vahi sahaj mein, mukti ko pata.

   Mother, the devotee who sings your aarti every day easily attains liberation.

   हे माता, जो भक्त रोज़ आपकी आरती गाता है, वह सहज ही मुक्ति पाता है।
