As rows of stars and moonlight vanish when the sun rises high, as flocks of birds fold their wings before Garuda, so I bow to you: protect this servant of yours. Salutations to Narayana.

Even while heavy pride and envy still fill the heart, whoever says the holy names finds a good path to salvation. Salutations to Narayana.

मन में भारी घमंड और ईर्ष्या भरी हो, तब भी जो पवित्र नाम बोलता है, उसे मुक्ति का अच्छा मार्ग मिलता है। नारायण को नमस्कार।
ഊരിന്നുവേണ്ട ചില ഭാരങ്ങൾ വേണ്ടതിനു, നീരിന്നുവേണ്ട നിജദാരങ്ങൾ വേണ്ടതിനു, നാരായണാച്യുതഹരേ എന്നതിന്നൊരുവർ, നാവൊന്നേ വേണ്ടു ഹരി നാരായണായ നമഃ

Oorinnuvenda chila bharangal vendathinu, neerinnuvenda nijadarangal vendathinu, Narayanachyutha Hare ennathinnoruvar, navonne vendu Hari Narayanaya namah

Running a household takes many burdens, and sacred rites with water need a wife beside you; but to say Narayana, Achyuta, Hari, one needs only a tongue. Salutations to Hari Narayana.

घर-गाँव चलाने के लिए कई बोझ उठाने पड़ते हैं, जल के संस्कारों के लिए अपनी पत्नी साथ चाहिए; पर नारायण, अच्युत, हरि कहने के लिए बस एक जीभ चाहिए। हरि नारायण को नमस्कार।
ഋതുവായപെണ്ണിനുമിരപ്പവനും ദാഹകനും, പതിതന്നുമഗ്നിയജനം ചെയ്തഭൂസുരനും, ഹരിനാമകീർത്തനമിതൊരുനാളുമാർക്കുമുടനരുതാത്തതല്ല ഹരി നാരായണായ നമഃ

Rithuvayapenninumirappavanum dahakanum, pathithannumagniyajanam cheytha bhoosuranum, harinamakeerthanamithorunalumarkkum, udanaruthatthathalla Hari Narayanaya namah

A woman in her period, a beggar, one who tends the pyre, an outcaste, or a Brahmin who keeps the sacred fire: for no one, on no day, is singing Hari's name forbidden. Salutations to Hari Narayana.

रजस्वला स्त्री हो, भिखारी हो, चिता जलाने वाला हो, पतित हो या अग्नि-यज्ञ करने वाला ब्राह्मण: किसी के लिए भी, किसी भी दिन, हरिनाम कीर्तन वर्जित नहीं। हरि नारायण को नमस्कार।
ൠഭോഷനെന്നു ചിലർ ഭാഷിക്കിലും ചിലർ കളിപ്പാപിയെന്നു പറയുന്നാകിലും മനസി, ആവോ നമുക്കു തിരിയാ എന്നുറച്ചു തിരുനാമങ്ങൾ ചൊൽക ഹരി നാരായണായ നമഃ

Rribhoshanennu chilar bhashikkilum, chilar kalippapiyennu parayunnakilum, manasi avo namukku thiriya ennuracchu, thirunamangal cholka Hari Narayanaya namah

Though some call you a fool and others call you a wicked sinner, settle it in your mind: Who knows, that is not for me to judge. And keep saying the holy names. Salutations to Hari Narayana.

For other things we may weigh signs and compatibility, but the name of the unconquered Lord surely needs none of that; among your countless holy names, not one is unfit to say. Salutations to Hari Narayana.

दूसरे कामों के लिए हम शुभ-अशुभ और मेल देखते हैं, पर अजेय भगवान के नाम के लिए इसकी कोई ज़रूरत नहीं; आपके करोड़ों पवित्र नामों में कोई भी ऐसा नहीं जो बोला न जा सके। हरि नारायण को नमस्कार।

Going through the letters one by one, I too fall with folded hands and plead with my Lord: why delay in making single-minded devotion dawn within me? Salutations to Hari Narayana.
