लोकाभिरामं रणरङ्गधीरं

1. लोकाभिरामं रणरङ्गधीरं राजीवनेत्रं रघुवंशनाथम्।
   कारुण्यरूपं करुणाकरं तं श्रीरामचन्द्रं शरणं प्रपद्ये॥

   Lokabhiramam ranarangadhiram rajivanetram raghuvamshanatham, karunyarupam karunakaram tam shriramachandram sharanam prapadye.

   I take refuge in Shri Ramachandra: the delight of the world, steadfast on the battlefield, lotus-eyed, lord of the Raghu line, compassion in human form and the source of all kindness.

   जो संसार को आनंद देने वाले हैं, रणभूमि में धीर हैं, कमल जैसे नेत्रों वाले हैं, रघुवंश के स्वामी हैं, करुणा के स्वरूप और दया के भंडार हैं, उन श्री रामचन्द्र की मैं शरण लेता हूँ।
