Shonir mahattho joto ke bornite pare. Kinchit rochito hoilo Shonideber bore.
Who can describe all of Shani’s greatness? Only a little has been written here, by Shanidev’s blessing.

Skondopuraner kotha onnotha na hoy. Jothabidhi Byasbakko kobhu mittha noy.
The word of the Skanda Purana cannot prove false; the words of Vyasa are never untrue.
Shuddhashuddho gganhin bole Nibaron. Bhumite lutiya bondi Shonir choron.
Nibaran, who does not know right from wrong, says: lying on the ground, I bow at Shani’s feet.
