1. ఎంత నేర్చిన ఎంత జూచిన, ఎంత వారలైన కాంత దాసులే

   Enta nerchina enta juchina, enta varalaina kanta dasule

   However much they have learned, however much they have seen, however great they may be, they are still slaves to women.

   कितना ही सीख लें, कितना ही देख लें, कितने ही बड़े हों, फिर भी वे स्त्रियों के दास ही हैं।

2. సంతతంబు శ్రీకాంత స్వాంత సిద్ధాంతమైన మార్గ చింత లేని వారెంత

   Santatambu Srikanta swanta siddhantamaina marga chinta leni varenta

   What are they worth, those who never think on the path that is the settled truth in the heart of Lakshmi’s lord?

   जो कभी लक्ष्मीपति के हृदय के सिद्धांत रूपी मार्ग का चिंतन नहीं करते, उनका क्या मोल?

3. పర హింస పర భామాన్య ధన, పర మానవాపవాద, పర జీవనముల కనృతమే, భాషించేరయ్య త్యాగరాజ నుత

   Para himsa para bhamanya dhana, para manavapavada, para jeevanamula kanrutame, bhashincherayya Tyagaraja nuta

   To hurt others, to covet other men’s wives and wealth, to slander others and to live off others, they speak nothing but lies, O Lord praised by Tyagaraja.

   दूसरों को सताने, पराई स्त्री और पराए धन, दूसरों की निंदा और दूसरों के सहारे जीने के लिए वे झूठ ही बोलते हैं, हे त्यागराज द्वारा स्तुत प्रभु।
